Waco’s Neighborhood Bar

The Brass Rail has a long history in Waco. You’ve probably heard all the stories about how it used to be at the lake and then had to move to other spots around town. We even found an old newspaper from the1952 that had an ad for the New Brass Rail featuring Willey Hoker and Texas Ramblers. It holds some great memories for a lot of Waco folks and we plan on it making a lot more memories for all our customers – both old and new.

newspaperWe’ve tried to keep those great stories intact and we’ll be putting them on the website as our customers send them to us. Also join our Facebook page by clicking on the icon on this page.

The Brass Rail will also feature memorabilia of other legendary Waco bars. That’s why you’ll see mirrors in our bar of the Okey Dokey Lounge and a picture of Dogs Playing Pool by a reknown Waco artist. That picture has hung in several Waco bars.

You won’t find a big dance floor and lots of lights. But you will find a lot of good conversation and of course sports on our TVs.  Plus there’s two pool tables, a juke box and other things to keep you entertained besides the stories you will be swapping with your old and new friends. We want this to be your favorite place to go in Waco.

We’re Waco’s Neighborhood Bar – and that’s exactly what we want to be.
